family history. Hear from the Traditional owners themselves on how Paddy Uluru
fought for Aboriginal land rights to where Uluru is today. Departing Ayers Rock Resort after lunch we make our
way south of Uluru to the homelands of the Uluru traditional owners, making
various stops along the way to hear and experience how life once was and where
it is today. Visit the area of where the original Uluru Kata Tjuta National
Park gates once were, rock water holes and the ever changing desert environments.
All the while keeping Uluru in view in the distance as you travel. Enjoy
afternoon tea as you chat around the fireplace with your Aboriginal guide. Travel
on remote bush tracks – it can be a bumpy road, but part of the adventure as
you take in some spectacular views of Uluru, Kata Tjuta and the desert
landscape. Finish your afternoon off with sunset on a private sand dune
overlooking Uluru and Kata Tjuta.
