Join our local Southern Elders Weaving Group to discover the joys of weaving. During this experience, you will learn the traditional skills and techniques used to complete the art of Aboriginal weaving. Used in the creation of baskets, jewellery, nets and other materials, weaving is a an integral skill to the First Nations people of Australia.


Where to meet your guides:

If chosen to begin this experience at the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre, please meet our facilitators in the LKCC Function Room within the Warriparinga Wetlands. The centre is off Sturt Road, Bedford Park. If chosen to begin this experience elsewhere, please make sure to let us know in the registration form.


Please Note:

This experience will operate for groups of 12 - 30 persons. Minimums and availability apply. If minimum numbers are not met, experience may take place pending a minimum payment.
